Indian wigwam in Lower Canada 1848

By Cornelius Krieghoff who is one of the greatest Canadian painters though he was born in Amsterdam. Also fought in the 2nd Seminole War but don't get me onto that. More on Krieghoff here.
Actually I really like Krieghoff's work - OK it's a little Christmas card-like but it's also a fascinating look at the world of the winter hunter.
